IBPS New York devotes its efforts to providing everyone in society with faith, joy, hope, and service. Our mission is to establish a pure land on this earth through the practice of Humanistic Buddhism in daily life.
Activities at the temple include Dharma services, lectures, sutra study, and meditation classes. Our facility is available for weddings, funerals, family gatherings, and community meetings. All groups and ages are welcome.
The ultimate mission of IBPS New York is to share the Dharma with our East Coast neighbors. Deer Park, our 465 acre retreat center located in upstate New York, is the largest Buddhist retreat center on the East Coast. It is easily accessible from New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
