IBPS Cub Scout Pack 754 was establish in 1997. With providing 20 years successful educational programs for boys and young adults to build leadership, desirable qualities of character, to train in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship, and to develop personal fitness, Pack 754 is one of the biggest Cub Scout Pack in the Community. Following the BSA cub scout structure, our pack has five dens including Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I and Webelos II. Not only all Dens have weekly meeting with right-aged group and the whole pack as scheduled but parents also meet two times a month in average. Scouting is a “Family Affair” and family participation is essential to enrich the scouting life. We are proud of the 100% trained registered leaders and 100% volunteers which best supports 100% remarkable solid scouting programs. Every year boys who participate in two year Webelos program 100% earned the Arrow of Light Rank - the highest Ranking in Cub Scout.
As a Cub Scout, Scout Oath, Scout Law and Cub Scout Motto is fundamental essence. Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey.
Scout Law: To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. Cub Scout Motto: Do your Best!
Besides BSA Scout Oath, Scout Law and Scout Motto, IBPS Pack 754 follows Fo Guang Shan principles: “The Three Acts of Goodness” which are say good words, do good deeds and thinking good thoughts”. Mastering the Three Acts of Goodness is most worthy of being proud. Service and dedication are like the full moon shining in the skies. Encouragement and praise are like the fragrance of flowers following you from everywhere. The presence of a sage in one’s mind is like a fertile field ready to yield a good harvest.
While The Three Acts of Goodness is melted in Scout Spirit, IBPS Cub Scouts’ life is enriched with not only leadership and independent character but also wisdom and compassion. Those virtues in life allow society to become even more auspicious and peaceful which beautifully
